Crystal Report Error "Unable to find the report in the manifest resources"
Submitted by Wei on Fri, 06/19/2009 - 17:41If you get error message "Unable to find the report in the manifest resources. Please build the project, and try again". I got the error for one of 200 crystal reports in an in-house project. You can solve it by the following steps:
1. Locate the crystal report .rpt file;
2. REMOVE the "code behind" file (same file name+ ".cs" if you use C#);
3. Right click the report file on "Solution Explorer" pane, choose "Exclude From Project";
4. Add the report file back by right click then choose "Add"-->"Existing Item..."
It seems the problem is related to MSBuild.

Took down a Pligg site under weiplanet.com domain
